Aflao Traditional Council Joins Brotherhood International Church To Celebrate Tabbieorar Festival

The Aflao Traditional Council led by its President and Paramount Chief, Torgbiga Amenya Fiti V, on Sunday, September 1, 2024, Joined hundreds of congregants at the auditorium of the Brotherhood International Church, Aflao in the Ketu South Municipality of the Volta region to celebrate the church"s 2024 Tabbieorar Festival.

The colourful event was also graced by Torgbi Kpambi Vedzesu V, divisional Chief of Teshie-Aflao and other chiefs from the area.

It was to celebrate the church"s commitment to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and preparing souls for the kingdom of God over the years.

Speaking at the event, Torgbiga Amenya Fiti underscored the importance of creating a synergy between traditional authorities and the church towards the spiritual upliftment of humanity and the socio-economic well-being of society.

He said there should be a cordial relationship between traditional leaders and religious leaders, which he observed was necessary for the consolidation of peace and inter-religious tolerance, highlighting the need for love and fellow-feeling among all Ghanaians especially as the country readies for another major election in December.

Apostle Martin Fiadonu, founder and leader of the Brotherhood International Church praised Torgbiga Amenya Fiti for his commitment to ensuring that peace reigns among the people of the area over the years.

He enjoined all Christians to be each other's keepers and to be good examples for others to follow as taught by the great teacher and Savior Jesus Christ.

The festival was celebrated on the theme: "It is for the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed....., drawn from Lamentations 3:22-23.
